JANE LABOUS
CINDERELLAS
In Togo, West Africa, thousands of girls are trafficked every year by close female relatives - mothers, sisters and aunts - to work as domestic servants in the capital Lomé, or in Nigeria, Benin or Ghana. For this film for child rights organisation, Plan International, Jane spent time in Lomé and rural Togo hearing the stories of the real-life Cinderellas who seek a happy ending.
